An instinctive and protective gesture praised by the American media and social networks.
Already on February 11, during a meeting in New Hampshire, Jill Biden had intervened, smiling but determined, to chase a man heading for the husband from the platform. The troublemaker must have weighed twice as much, but the thin sixties had grabbed him by the shoulders, before exfiltrating him firmly.
These acts of bravery immediately sparked comparisons on social media between the current First Lady and the one who could take her place if Joe Biden won: the match did not really turn out to the advantage of Melania Trump.
