A destroyed carcass, two bodies recovered and a black box discovered: the American army intervened by helicopter, Tuesday, January 28, in the Afghan province of Ghazi after one of its planes crashed, Monday, in an area controlled by the Taliban.

"American forces have recovered two bodies from the site" and "Destroys the remains of the aircraft", the US military said in a statement. The bodies, which were found near the crash site, "Were treated with dignity and respect by the Afghan community", underlines the declaration of the American forces in Afghanistan.

An attempt by Afghan security forces to gain access to the site failed on Monday evening. They are "Taliban ambush in Ramak, near the crash site", Ghazni police spokesman Ahmad Khan Sirat told AFP. One of the officers, he said, died from his injuries.

The U.S. military said it also found the " Black Box " of the aircraft, which will be examined as part of the investigation into this crash, and reaffirmed that there is no evidence that it was caused by enemy fire. The US military has used "Helicopters to evacuate two bodies from the crash site this afternoon"Nasir Ahmad Faqiri, head of the provincial council for Ghazni province, told Agence France-Presse (AFP). American planes were monitoring the area and "No fighting took place during the evacuation", he added.

Washington had acknowledged on Monday the loss of one of its aircraft, a Bombardier E-11A, used in support of reconnaissance drones. The Pentagon, which has not given an official assessment, claimed to have "No indication" enemy fire. The Taliban said the plane had been "Tactically shot". Videos taken at the crash site showed Pashto speaking men around the burnt out aircraft, as well as what appear to be two bodies under blankets.

The crash came as the United States has been negotiating with the Taliban for more than a year to withdraw its troops from Afghan soil, notably in exchange for security guarantees. The insurgents proposed, ten days ago, a cease-fire to the Americans, who have not yet officially responded to it.
