In May, resistance from the residents of Sheikh Jarrah and police intervention on the Mosque Plaza sparked a Hamas war against Israel. These events have also turned into a common cause, mobilizing a new generation of Palestinians in Jerusalem, the West Bank, Gaza and in Israeli Arab towns.
