At Roland Garros this year, the outcome of the women’s tournament promises to be unprecedented. Thursday June 10, four young women discovered the excitement of the semi-finals of a Grand Slam.
In the first poster of the day, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, 32e world, made short work of young Slovenian Tamara Zidansek, 23, 85e world, eliminated in straight sets (7-5, 6-3).
The Russian, who will celebrate her 30th spring next month, will play her first Grand Slam final.
