the PSG-Dortmund match behind closed doors because of the coronavirus

It was the decision everyone was waiting for, the one that Paris-Saint-Germain (PSG) feared. The PSG match against Borussia Dortmund in the knockout stages of the Champions League (2-1 defeat in the first leg in Germany) will be contested behind closed doors at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday (March 11th) due to the coronavirus epidemic.

The Paris Prefecture of Police announced this late Monday morning March 9, when the government had banned the gathering of more than 1,000 people the day before. "Coronavirus: in application of the measures announced by the defense council last night, the Prefect of Police has decided that the match #PSGBVB will take place behind closed doors", tweeted the Prefecture of Police.
