Argentina beats the All Blacks, a first

Two of fall. And historic success. Already dominated by the Australians (22-24), Saturday November 7, the New Zealanders lost again Saturday November 14 in Sydney, against the Argentines (25-15) during the 3e Rugby Championship day, a competition that brings together the national teams of the southern hemisphere each year.

For Argentina, led by its opening half (and French Stadium player) Nicolas Sanchez, author of all points for his team, this victory over the All Blacks is the first time in its history.

It was the Argentinian’s first match in this Rugby Championship in which South Africa does not participate due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is also their first match in 13 months, and their victory at the World Cup in Japan against the United States (47-17).

The formation coached by Mario Ledesma, who was already leading to the 16-3 break, was imperial from start to finish, both in attack and defense, against unruly All Blacks, making too many mistakes.

New Zealand side is the first time since 2011 that the team has lost two consecutive matches. Manager Ian Foster made ten changes to line up what almost looked like a typical squad, with all of their current best.

The All Blacks had to wait until the 53rd minute to score their first try of the game, before reducing the score in stoppage time with a try for the honor.
