Sports television channels emerge regularly, further fragmenting the offer for television sports fans. The latest, Téléfoot, whose name reflects the specialty, was launched in the heart of the summer and will broadcast 80% of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 of French football. In 2018, it was RMC Sport which made its entry – with some technical difficulties – and which intended to bring together all the matches of the Europa League and the Champions League on a single bouquet.
For the viewer, it has become difficult to know which package to subscribe to watch tennis, rugby or football competitions. Thus, to watch all French, European or world football matches, it will cost you nearly 100 euros per month according to our calculations. Cycling enthusiasts do a little better because most of the major events, such as the Tour de France, the Tour d’Italie, Paris-Roubaix or the Tour des Flandres, are broadcast on free channels. But you will still have to spend a few euros to watch the Tour of Spain.
