How old is Jeff Winger?
It is clear Jeff is supposed to be somewhere in his 30’s during the first year and there are multiple episodes that establish three different potential ages for the character. The first one is s2e15 where we see a clear shot of Jeff’s license that has a birthdate of November 11, 1971.
then How old is Chang?
Ben is of Chinese heritage. In Season One’s “Investigative Journalism”, it is shown that Ben is born in 1969 but in Season Three’s “The First Chang Dynasty” it is said that he is 25 years of age. This of course is obviously false, as that would mean he was 16 or 17 years old when he began teaching at Greendale.

While writing the character of Abed, Community creator Dan Harmon realized through research that he might have Autism spectrum disorder. He consulted a doctor about it and concluded that he himself is on the spectrum.
