InvestigationSome of his voters in the most evangelical circles see him as an “envoy of God”, who came to “save” the United States, and even the world.
The two minutes of prayers and praise poured on stage by Pastor Guillermo Maldonado seem to have seemed long to the American President, on January 3, in Miami. Hands clasped, eyes closed, Donald Trump is standing, surrounded by half a dozen religious, men and women. Devotionally, some touch him, as they would worship an idol. Closer to home, his spiritual adviser, Paula White, a controversial figure in Protestantism, appears to be inhabited by the forces of the Spirit. An evangelical “moment”, worthy of the most expressive Churches in the country.

In the midst of the campaign for the November presidential election, the launch of a group aptly named "The Evangelicals with Trump" deserved a blessing. Disert, the self-proclaimed pastor of the International Ministry of King Jesus therefore invoked the Holy Spirit and implored God's blessings on Trump’s America, "The greatest nation on earth". "Convinced defender" of the anti-abortion cause
Since he became aware of the crucial weight of the Christian electorate in his election in 2016 (81% of white evangelicals voted for it) and of their indispensable loyalty for his potential re-election, Mr. Trump has never attended as much of religious leaders, prayed in public and evoked God.
On January 24, he even made history by becoming the first incumbent president to speak in Washington before anti-abortion activists at the March for Life, an annual event started in 1974, in the wake of legalization of abortion by the Supreme Court. On the National Mall of the federal capital, in front of a sea of banners bearing the names of Christian schools and Catholic parishes, from which emerged crosses, the billionaire, known until the threshold of the 2000s for his pro-choice convictions , reassured his flock of the day: " Each child is a precious gift from God, made in the image of our Lord; you’ve never had such a strong advocate in the White House. "The Bible teaches compassion, but also defends law and order. Trump is more on the side of law and order ", David Brody, of the Christian channel CBN
