Monday February 22 was announced the signing of an agreement between Moët Hennessy, division of LVMH, and rapper Jay-Z, the latter ceding to the world’s leading luxury goods group half of the shares of his champagne brand, Armand de Brignac. In 2014, the musician had invested $ 200 million in the company, which he regularly shows the bottles in his videos. Jay-Z also owns stakes in nightclubs, music labels and a booming ready-to-wear brand, Rocawear.
A childhood in New York
Jay-Z did not have a fixed destiny. Real name Shawn Corey Carter, he was born in Brooklyn in 1969 and grew up with a single mother in a violent environment. He sells crack cocaine and was shot several times in his youth. He began rapping as a teenager, and his fame grew within the New York hip-hop scene. After selling his records in the back of his car, he created his own label, Roc-A-Fella. His career as a singer took off, and he produced many successes, notably for the Def Jam label.

In June 2019, Jay-Z appeared in the Economics pages of newspapers. Growing, his various activities have made him a billionaire (in dollars), the first big fortune in hip-hop and the fifth richest African-American. This label marks the evolution of rap.
Installed in his couple
Since 2002, Jay-Z has been a half. That of the couple that he forms with the singer Beyoncé, who pleases America infinitely. On February 10, Bernard Arnault’s group announced in a press release to suspend “The ready-to-wear activity (…) pending better conditions ”, following the pandemic. But the group is concentrating on continuing the other activities of “The Fenty ecosystem, in particular beauty, skincare and lingerie”, very lucrative.

Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born on the island of Barbados in 1988. Her father is a multiple drug addict and violent. At the end of her teens, this young reggae fan is part of several groups.
