how Trump’s appeals are gradually being rejected or abandoned

Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani presents various appeals at a press conference on November 19.

From voting to the handover of power, American elections are usually already a long process that involves certification of the results in each state and voting by the electorate. The situation is even more complicated in 2020 because of the numerous legal actions brought by Donald Trump’s lawyers.

Except that the hour is ticking. Several states – and not least: Pennsylvania and Michigan – have already “certified” their results, blocking the way to disputes from the loser. A sign that the tide is turning even in the White House, Donald Trump has agreed to start the transition process, after three weeks of denial and without officially acknowledging his defeat.

These appeals in shambles filed in six key states have not all been settled by justice but the way is now very narrow for Donald Trump. Update on these appeals rejected, abandoned or still in progress.
