Between the first two world powers, already in the midst of an economic battle, the new coronavirus is a subject of additional conflict, not of cooperation. Their rivalry stifles what remains of the "international community" or multilateralism. The Covid-19 is doing better.

It produces masks and chain "respirators", medicines too, which are distributed to the proud West.
