Noël Le Graët thinks that the football clubs "released the pressure" on their supporters

"The clubs released the pressure" on their supporters, denounced, Saturday, December 14, the president of the French Football Federation (FFF), Noël Le Graët, noting the recent cases of smoke bombs and clashes in stadiums.

"It is time to take things in hand. For the past two months, we have had the impression that it is gone and that we are not moving too much ", declared the leader from Paris, where the federal assembly of the body was held.

"In five or six stadiums, it is difficult to play football because there are smoke bombs or because of the behavior of certain spectators, who want either to change the president, the coach or the player. It is up to the presidents to make their security services better and to the League (professional football, LFP) to take the first sanctions. We are completely out of step with the rest of Europe. The federation cannot remain insensitive ”.

From Bordeaux to Saint-Ouen

Noël Le Graët expressed himself while several incidents involving supporters have taken place in recent days in France, such as in Bordeaux where "ultras" interrupted for half an hour the Ligue 1 meeting between the Girondins and Nîmes to contest club presidency, December 3.

There were clashes last Tuesday between supporters of the Lyon players, after the deployment of a banner hostile to Marcelo, the OL defender caught in the flu by some of the fans. The following day, in Paris, incidents broke out between fans of PSG and the Turkish club Galatasaray near the Parc des Princes.

Friday, it was the Minister of Sports, Roxana Maracineanu, who had to leave at half-time the Red Star stadium in Saint-Ouen, during a meeting of the 3rd Division, heckled by a dozen supporters, in full period of contestation of the pension reform.

"There are cameras, you have to have the courage to file a complaint, to make sure that these boys don't come back to the stadium anymore", said Le Graët again.
