How long does lip balm expire?
Lip balm does expire, but there isn’t a “one time fits all” expiration date. When it comes to lip balms containing sunscreens and skin protectants (i.e. zinc oxide or titanium dioxide), both ChapStik and Burt’s Bees recommend tossing the balms after one year.
Is Carmex meant to burn?
Depends on how chapped my lips are. A tingling like sensation is completely normal, especially if your lips are extremely dry and cracking. Once lips are healed, only a slight tingle should be felt, and it should never be uncomfortable. It shouldn’t feel like a legitimate burn, but you should feel it working.
How do I know if my ChapStick is expired?

Do lips change after kissing?

Does licking lips make it pink? Does licking my lips often make it pink? No. Saliva contains many enzymes. Licking your lips more often would make your lips dry, so try not to lick your lips and apply a good moisturizer instead.
