Who is Drona in Mahabharata?
Guru Dronacharya was a legendary and illustrious teacher of the Mahabharata era. He taught royal princes of both the clans, Pandavas and Kauravas. Why did Drona fight Kauravas?

Who killed bheem? On the 14th day of the war, Bhima defeated Drona by smashing his chariot twice and penetrating the Kaurava formation in order to aid Arjuna in his quest to slay Jayadratha. Bhima was defeated by Karna.

Technically no. He didn’t respected Drona’s decision to not have Ekalavya as his student. Ekalavya learned entire archery by himself and then identified himself as Drona’s student without even having Drona’s consent.
Why did Dronacharya not teach Eklavya? Ekalavya was a tribal, not an upper caste like Drona’s students, the Pandavas and the Kauravas. Drona rejected Ekalavya, an aspirational student, because he didn’t have the right family background. He later did the same thing to Karna.
