Four days after their encouraging defeat against the Australians (39-21), Fiji line up a team largely overhauled against Uruguay on Wednesday (7:15, group D) at Kamaishi Recovery Memorial Stadium, City devastated by the 2011 tsunami – a minute of silence will be observed at the beginning of the match.
For Flying Fijians, the goal is simple: beat the modest Uruguayans. Coach John McKee made 12 changes to the team that started against the Wallabies; only the two third lines Leone Nakarawa and Dominiko Waqaniburotu, as well as Semi Radradra, moved from wing to center, retain their place. The World Rugby International Federation has decided to change its rules regarding the duration of the concussion protocol. The 10 minutes, which were in effect, will now be counted from the entry into the medical room and no longer at the exit of the player's field.
