Jacques de France coach Jacques Brunel announced the names of those who will participate in the World Cup in Japan and Louis Picamoles was finally selected.
The announcement was made during TF1's 20-hour news program on Monday, 2 September. Jacques Brunel, the coach of the XV of France, has revealed the names of those who will participate in the World Rugby to be held from September 20 to November 2.
Louis Picamoles, one of the most experienced players of the XV of France, was finally selected in the group of 31 players to compete for the World Cup in Japan. Of the thirty-seven players who prepared for this competition, six were not selected. Picamoles, present at the 2011 and 2015 World Cups, posted at number 8 a unique profile of a puncher, able to advance in the defenses. Lambey replaced by Ollivon
Compared to the provisional group of 31 announced on June 18, the coach finally decided to take a third extra line and rely on the versatility of Arthur Iturria, "Who can play second and third line".
