The Prime Minister, who has repeatedly spoken out against excessive immigration restrictions, quickly replaced Mrs.me Braverman by Grant Shapps, one of the main supporters of Rishi Sunak, his unsuccessful opponent in the Conservative primary. This recruitment has an obvious goal: to try to neutralize this skilful opponent, one of the craftsmen of the first capitulation of Mr.me Truss on its economic program – it had to, at the beginning of October, give up the abolition of a slice of income tax intended to favor the wealthiest.
